After the acquisition of Rule Financial, Gareth Richardson became joint Managing Director of GFT UK. Having joined Rule Financial in 2010, Gareth became the company’s Global Head of Delivery, responsible for the success of client engagements, client satisfaction and evolving the firm’s capability and services. Gareth was instrumental in driving the global nearshore strategy, overseeing expansions in Spain, Poland and Costa Rica. Gareth has extensive experience of building world-class consulting organisations and has led the design and management of complex multi-year, global programmes. He is an Enterprise Architect by profession and also a Computer Science graduate

Chris Ortiz is joint Managing Director of GFT UK. In his decade at GFT, Chris has worked closely with the UK, Spanish and Brazilian offices, running GFT’s business with Deutsche Bank in the UK and laying the foundations for the company’s expansion into the USA. Prior to joining GFT, Chris was with Deutsche Bank, first in New York and then in Barcelona where his strategic roles included project management of MIS reporting, supplier management systems and databases. Previously, Chris worked at JP Morgan in New York and London, where he was involved in Global Technology and Operations Financial Control and Emerging Markets Sales. Chris was educated at Cornell University (New York) and later took an MBA in IT and International Business at Fordham University Graduate School of Business Administration.
Simon joined ICON in 2010 and specialises in selling and raising funds for high growth tech companies. He has advised on transactions ranging from raising venture capital, securing strategic investments, M&A and IPOs.

Nick co-heads the GFT Data Practice and capability in the UK. With over 18 years’ experience, Nick has a track record in delivering successful data-centric projects at investment banks. Nick now focuses on data and data innovation and is leading GFT’s effort to find new approaches to solve business problems with data solutions.
