    To be clear, in late 2017 many projects faced the same problem. Even the bitcoin tipping bot on reddit, for instance. TONS OF THEM started taking custody of the coins and running accounts, which looks like Coinbase or any exchange from the user's perspective. Why not Brave?

    We ripped out A LOT. Brave Ads, Brave Rewards, Brave Sync, Brave Wallet, Google GCM, Brave New Tab Sponsored Images, and many other things are DISABLED. Keeping a close eye on things like as they develop. It’s still very early.

    Bitcoin fees for non-expert users went to 90%, block size left network taking days, no way to pay users w/o buying for them. This is all well known, we never deceived. More accurate to say LN shills lies about when ready/usability probs, & maxis blamed users for not being expert.

    The UK "justice" department has ruled that cannot be released from Belmarsh prison, because he is not a convicted felon! i.e. he is on remand, so doesn't qualify for the early release plans that they are implementing.
