Global Funeral Care, a startup that develops a blockchain-based platform that enables fully customizable funerals and creates economically productive relationships between organizations operating in the death care industry, attended the LATOKEN Blockchain Economic Forum last week, cutting new deals with several partners at the London event.

“The LATOKEN Blockchain Economic Forum in London was a great experience in which we gained valuable insights, built new relationships, and started negotiations with several investment partners who can’t be named at this time,” said Alex van der Wal, Co-founder and CEO of Global Funeral Care. “ I want to thank Valentin Preobrazhenskiy, the CEO of LATOKEN for the time he has taken for us and for hosting this great event.”

The Blockchain Economic Forum was organized by LATOKEN, a partner exchange of Global Funeral Care and includes speakers such as Silicon Valley VC Tim Draper, Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev, and more. The event covered some important and relevant topics, not only currently affecting the space but also issues that will be relevant in the very near future. Attendees of the forum consisted of governments, entrepreneurs, investors, and media. Together they discussed the future of capital markets, payment systems, and explored opportunities for collaboration.

During the event, governments tried to set new rules, find supporters, and implement automation to reduce the cost of government services. Entrepreneurs were able to meet investors, partners, and high-quality contractors. Investors were able to meet with project founders to gain in-depth insights on potential investments. Top journalists from the media were on hand to interview decision-makers and trendsetters regarding the new economy, helping to spread awareness about up and coming projects. The forum was held to support and enhance the global new economy, which benefits all parties.
