Rakuten aims to revolutionize the airspace. Our team is responsible for a number of products related to drone related services. We started the drone delivery service in May 2016 and currently working on a service for Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV).
Our partners are major drone manufacturers, large retailers, supermarkets, shopping centers, and department stores. Also we partner with a US based company AirMap, who provides Unmanned Traffic Management platform for drones. What we do and how we do it shapes the future of this industry.
Responsibility
‘- Understand customer needs and gather product requirements to enhance existing products
– Drive the project with clear communication of it through the tech team and stakeholders.
– Organize sprints to execute tasks, keep them on track to make delivery on time.
– Schedule management, issue management, cost management in product development and maintenance
– Product requirement definition
– Product spec creation
– Smooth negotiation and coordination with business partners
– Communication with overseas members and promotion of development
– Communication with engineers and promotion of development
