Plume Network, a full-stack layer 1 blockchain and a provider of real-world assets investing (RWIA), has partnered with Google Cloud and AI firm CloudMile to disrupt how RWAs are onboarded into the network. The collaboration, announced on 20th December, will reshape the RWA ecosystem with the help of artificial intelligence and the latest cloud technologies.

Plume’s goal is to disrupt the traditional appraisals and onboarding of real-world assets by deploying AI capabilities on Google Cloud infrastructure. The announcement stated that automation can further reduce the time for RWA projects to be assessed, as it will lighten the process considerably.
“This collaboration will turbo-charge Plume’s data intelligence suite for RWAs by leveraging Vertex AI and cutting-edge GPU infrastructure (A100 & V100 processors), enabling faster, secure, and compliant tokenization and analysis of RWAs,” Plume noted in a post on X.
CloudMile’s expertise in AI and cloud technology will implement the initiative. They will work on real-time compliance and analytics using Google Cloud’s BigQuery, Dataflow, and Looker Studio. Adopting these technologies for tokenized RWAs has massive potential benefits, which will open up investment opportunities for institutions in the RWA finance (RWAfi) sector.
Plume Secures $20M, Expands Partnerships in Blockchain
Plume’s recent $20 million Series A funding round brought the company into partnership with Google Cloud. Galaxy Digital, Brevan Howard Digital, and Haun Ventures led the round.It has been actively building partnerships to expand its blockchain and RWA space presence.
This was followed in October with LiquidStone, a high-yield solutions platform, which it worked with on-chain private credit provider Credbull to launch. The other big collaboration is with Chateau Capital in tokenizing illiquid assets in the $500 million private markets.
Plume’s move mirrors how blockchain and artificial intelligence are starting to converge. However, integrating AI-driven analytics and compliance solutions is anticipated to tackle the key business challenges the RWA market faces, including inefficiencies in asset valuation and a lack of transparency.
