StormX announced last Thursday the addition of Jon Nolz as Executive Vice President of Business Development and Perry Pak to as Head of User Acquisition at the blockchain-powered adtech and microtask gamification company. The key hires are designed to enhance the monetization and user growth of the StormX platform through strategic partnerships and market expansion, the company said in a statement.

Perry Pak, head of user acquisition, has nearly 20 years of digital media experience, according to the company’s announcement, and has specialized in mobile user acquisition since 2010. Pak has helped design user acquisition strategies for industry leading businesses like Microsoft, Ebay, and Walgreens, and has helped drive over 50 million paid downloads.

Pak said in a statement, “The StormX team has a genuinely unique take on the adtech and mobile earning market, and their refreshing vision, enthusiasm and passion for their business is one of the key reasons I was eager to come onboard. With the current rate of platform expansion and its already impressive list of strategic partnerships, user base, and credentials, I am excited to see what we can achieve.”

Nolz brings over three decades of digital advertising and marketing experience, according to the release announcing his appointment, and previously held roles as VP of business solutions at Kochava and VP of mobile advertising at Hipcricket.

Jon Nolz said, “StormX has already achieved a number of notable milestones in our short history, and I am confident that this is only the beginning of a very rewarding journey. I look forward to forging ahead with our ambitious yet calculated goals that will position StormX as a true representative of the new economy. I anticipate a bright future for our ever-expanding user base and for the monetization of new and existing platforms.”

StormX has over 1.2 million downloads and over 270,000 monthly active users in 187 countries around the world, according to the company.

Simon Yu, CEO of StormX said in a statement, “Bringing such highly accomplished individuals to the StormX team will enable us to quickly build the networks that will take us to the forefront of the thriving adtech space, and further towards our end goal of creating marketplaces for earning, spending, and economic advancement. In an industry still in its very early stages in terms of what it can achieve, we are excited to have two established experts onboard who truly believe in and understand our strategic vision as we continue to develop our platform and provide the highest quality experience to our users.”
